F.A.Q.
How much time will I have to volunteer?
Time commitments are flexible and will depend on your placement. Different placements need volunteers
at various times of the day and on various days of the week. Please note, some placements have a
minimum time commitment in order to volunteer with them. You can choose between ongoing or one-off projects.
This will depend on the placement. Please check our volunteer opportunities forms where we
have indicated in each case whether the placement will reinburse reasonable expenses.
Again, this will depend on where you volunteering. Generally, if you volunteer with children,
young people or vulnerable adults, you will need a CRB check. Please check with your placement.
If you do require one, your placement should support you in the CRB application and pay the application fee’s.
What happens if a have a complaint or I am unhappy with a volunteering placement?
