Setup your own project?
We can provide the funding for you to set up your own volunteer scheme, giving you the chance to run a project that is important to you and will benefit your community.
For those aged 16-25:

vcashpoint is giving away 1 million pounds to 16-25 year olds in England who want to set up their own volunteering project in their community… and you could get your hands on up to £2500.
If you’ve got a great idea, vcashpoint has got the money. Apply online (or on paper) for up to £2500 to help you turn your ideas into reality. It’s easy!
How can I spend the cash? vcashpoint funds new projects that are led by young people that will really make a difference to the community. Your project should create at least three new opportunities where young people can volunteer – so there’s every opportunity to get your mates on board.
How about? running activities for children – transforming a community space – supporting victims of bullying – running workshops for young people – setting up a campaign – clearing up a beach – running music, art or sports events for disadvantaged people – organising a festival to bring different cultures or communities together… or something totally different… be creative!
vcashpoint will fund new projects and ideas which aim to expand or develop those schemes which have been carried out in the past, rejuvenating them with new volunteers.
All projects must create at least three NEW volunteering opportunities for 16-25 year olds, be youth-led, take place in England and benefit a chosen community. vcashpoint must be the only source of funding for the project.
Bring your ideas to life and transform your community. Use your skills to do something inspirational.

It can support staffing costs to enable activities to take place or be used to hire facilities, for example – renting a recording studio to produce a DVD.
