Oxfam has a presence at all the key festivals, including Glastonbury, Leeds, Reading and Bestival. They will be recruiting stewards from the beginning of March 2008. Oxfam gets paid to provide stewards, so by volunteering you’re enjoying great music AND raising money to fight poverty and suffering at the same time.

Keep checking Oxfam’s Generation Why website for the latest on festival volunteering. When places become available, you will have to act quickly to ensure a place due to the continuing popularity of schemes such as this.
